» Recruitment of Msc and PhD students for water Resources Engineering & Managment (WREM)

 

The Ethiopian Institute of Water Resources (EIWR) at Addis Ababa University is pleased to announce opportunities for those interested in pursuing M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Water Resources Engineering and Management (WREM). WREM is a new program established jointly by leading U.S. universities (University of Connecticut, Alabama A&M University) in close partnership with Ethiopian Universities (Addis Ababa University, Arba Minch University, Bahir Dar University, Hawassa University, and Mekelle University).  Funding is provided by the USAID - Higher Education for Development (USAID-HED) and the Ethiopian Ministry of Education.  The first cohort will comprise 15 PhD and 30 MSc students.  Program will begin on May 26, 2011.

EIWR is now accepting applications from those interested in pursuing M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees in WREM.  This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to advance their careers by pursuing post-graduate degrees in water resources.
